In 2024 two candidates campaigned for one available seat on the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners. The victor was Republican organization incumbent Susan M. Kiley who faced challenger Danielle Mastropiero who was selected by Monmouth County Democrats as their candidate for Commissioner.
